Being the Best

Bridgnorth Endowed School staff and governors receive the outstanding improvement award.

European and Commonwealth gold medal swimmer Adam Whitehead has been leading pupils at Bridgnorth Endowed School during the Be the Best programme, which focuses on goal setting and fulfilling potential – and he was present when the school was presented with a major accolade.

The school has been recognised as achieving outstanding improvements in terms of student achievement and Sue Williamson, chief executive of the National Schools Network, said: “Bridgnorth Endowed School has proved itself to be one of the best schools in the country at improving GCSE outcomes for their students.”

The school will hold open mornings throughout October.
