‘Grand’ finalists

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has been shortlisted in four categories as finalists for this year’s Black Country Chamber Awards. Vicky Price is up for Business Person of the Year, and Remy Lloyd for Young Person or Apprentice of the Year; the Theatre is also in line for Community Champion and Large Business of the Year.

Vicky , the Grand’s associate director of development and communications, has led a strategic audience development campaign to diversify the theatre’s audience over the last 18 months in conjunction with London’s National Theatre.

Remy Lloyd is the theatre’s access manager and has been the key figure in implementing and developing the Memory Café sponsored by FBC Manby Bowdler, which provides a vibrant service for people living with dementia. Remy is also responsible for the theatre’s access provision, enabling people living with disabilities to enjoy the experience of live theatre. At 23, Remy is the youngest member of Grand Theatre’s management team.

The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Friday 15 November at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
