Grove gets Spring Clean

Over a tonne of rubbish and detritus was collected from The Grove in Bridgnorth during a community litter pick and street clean. This annual event is part of ‘The Big Tidy Up Campaign’ and saw local people join forces with the Mayor of Bridgnorth, local councillors, and a team from Bridgnorth Town Council to spring clean the area in time for the lighter nights and warmer weather.

Shropshire Councillor Christian Lea said: “I was pleased to support the clean up on The Grove. If similar events to this are organised in other parts of Bridgnorth in the coming months, I urge people to spare an hour or two to help keep Bridgnorth tidy.”
