Approx. 20 hours per week
What’s What! is a local community magazine and website based in Much Wenlock, Shropshire. We’re looking for an efficient and organised person to assist and support our small and hardworking team.
You’ll be at the front line of this popular news source, wearing a variety of professional hats, while making sure everyone gains a positive impression and solving problems with aplomb. Administration is a key part of the job, so you’ll be quick to adapt to our systems and ensure the office runs smoothly.
You will be the kind of person who remembers faces, names and events and you’ll have a good eye for an intriguing news story. A self-starter who can manage and organise your own workload and has experience of working to deadlines. Compiling our popular Dates for your Diary will be one of your projects, so you’ll need to be confident in contacting venues and production companies for content and images.
You will help to grow our thriving business via our marketing web tools, eshots and social media so any experience in these areas would be an advantage.
Currently the role involves approx. 20 hours a week in the office with a few hours from home keeping on top of social media. Remuneration will depend on experience but will reflect the responsibility that comes with the role.
