Celebrity Guest for Children’s Festival

Mark Gibbons, Children’s Festival Activities Director, explained: “This year we’re planning on having a celebrity guest character and we’re asking children and their families to help us decide who this should be. We’ve created a survey on our website asking a simple question – which one would you like to see at this year’s Festival on Sunday 28th August.”

From a choice of 12 different characters, ranging from Barney the Dinosaur, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam to Pingu, whichever celebrity is chosen they will be making appearances at the Festival. As in previous years there will be something for everyone at the Children’s Festival to enjoy such as Creative Arts, Storytellers, Circus Skill artistes, Bouncy Castles and large inflatables.

Log on to the Children’s Festival website www.childrens-festival.co.uk to take part in the Celebrity Character survey.
