Choir triumph

Singing to a full house and supported by the Bewdley Concert Band, the recent Concordia Ladies Choir concert raised an amazing £840 for Breast Cancer Now! The Concordia youth group also sang two pieces they’d performed at Much Wenlock Live Arts Festival.

The group’s leader, Bev Wightman, said, “To say I’m chuffed is an understatement! I’ve been touched by attendance and donations from people I hadn’t seen for more than 40 years. Thank you again to everyone for your support.”
