Festive friendship

Together at Christmas, which is now in its seventh year, is made up of a group of extraordinary volunteers. Last year they hosted a free three-course meal on Christmas Day for over 100 people from Bridgnorth and the surrounding areas. The event, which was organised by Derek Bartlett, was also attended by the local Mayor. On arrival at the Castle Hall in High Town, guests were greeted by their dedicated hosts as live music played in the background.

There are many ways in which you can help this year if you wish to, from distributing leaflets, decorating the venue and hosting on the day. If you or someone you know could be in need of a home-cooked meal on Christmas Day in a friendly environment, contact 01746 768129 or email admin@bridgnorthbaptist.co.uk. Transport to and from the venue can be arranged for those who need it, and everything will be explained to guests in advance, so they know what to expect on the day.
