Autumn apple pressing

Head up to Attingham Park on Friday 1 November where there will be a traditional apple pressing event in the orchard, with fresh organic apples being juiced in a traditional press right before your eyes.

The orchard is home to 37 varieties of apples which need picking, pressing and juicing. Attingham’s Flora Holdsworth says, “This is a wonderful way to experience the traditional and seasonal activity while taking in the stunning views of Attingham Park. Fresh apple juice will also be available to buy on the day, all the proceeds from the event will go back into the property ensuring this historic orchard will continue to thrive for generations to come.”

The event is free and will be taking place at noon; normal admission charges.
