Broseley’s citizens of 2020

Winner of the Broseley Citizen of the year award is Julia Sockett.  Julia was nominated for her contributions to the town and its community throughout 2020, notably her commitment and dedication to Broseley Covid Group. Julia has continued to offer invaluable support and reassurance to the community during the coronavirus pandemic, says organiser Broseley Town Council.

Winner of the Young Citizen of the Year award is Niamh Perrins, who received several nominations for her enthusiasm and kindness in helping others during the pandemic

Deputy Mayor Mark Garbett presented both winners with a certificate and prize.
