The Wizard of Oz comes to Shropshire!

You are invited to click your heels, journey over the rainbow and ease on down the yellow brick road this May half-term as Immersion Theatre brings its production of The Wizard of Oz to Whitchurch.

Join Dorothy on her quest to the Emerald City as she and her loyal friends: the brainless but cheeky scarecrow, the cowardly lion and the heartless (literally!), tap-dancing tin man, navigate the magical Land of Oz in search of the mighty and mysterious wizard. With the Wicked Witch of the West determined to stop them by any means necessary, however, will the spirit of friendship triumph over evil?

With Covid-secure audience participation, dazzling costumes and plenty of laughter, the event will be socially-distanced for audience safety and enjoyment.

The show runs from May 29 to June 4 at Alderford Lake. Visit www.alderford.com for more information.

CAPTION: Follow the Yellow Brick Road all the way to Whitchurch.
