Support scheme for over 50s business owners

The Silverpreneurs® programme has been created to inspire and empower over 50s to develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills to grow their existing or early-stage business, within an experienced and supportive business community.

Whether you’ve been made redundant, want to leave corporate life and go it alone, re-enter the workplace after caring for family, or are seeking a new career path, the free programme has plenty to offer.

Delivered through a combination of in-person 1-2-1 and group coaching sessions, it’s a first-hand opportunity for participants to learn, develop and share their journey with others.

Silverpreneurs® co-founders and their expert team of trainers will share their business knowledge, experience and networks, covering topics such as strategy and planning, sales and marketing, access to finance and funding, personal heath and wellbeing and how to get the best of networking.

The six-week course begins on Thursday 18th January, but if you’re unable to make that date you can  register for a future cohort. The course will be held at the University Centre, Shrewsbury.

The business support scheme is fully funded by the Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
It is available to business owners aged 50-plus who have a business or home postcode registered in the Shropshire Council district, excluding Telford and Wrekin.
