Fantastic four up for prestigious care awards

Four team members from a national complex care company have been shortlisted for a prestigious award.

The ‘fantastic four’ from Komplex Care, which has its headquarters in Telford, were named in the regional shortlists for the Great British Care Awards 2024.

They include Operations Director Rachel Davy, who has been nominated for The Workforce Development Award in the West Midlands region.

Wendy Perkins, one of the company’s Nurse Managers, has been named in The Social Care Nurse Award category for the North West region.

Also shortlisted in the North West is Registered Manager Mandy Williams-Vance. She is up for The Home Care Registered Manager Award, having won the Frontline Leaders Award at the national finals last year.

The fourth is Arron Zaib, who is Chief Commercial Officer across the Komplex Group which includes Komplex Care. He has been nominated for The Care Innovator Award in the West Midlands.

Sharon Lane, the Group’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are so proud of the four members of the Komplex team who have been shortlisted in this year’s Great British Care Awards.

“Rachel, Wendy, Mandy and Arron are integral to the ongoing success of Komplex Care and each brings a magnitude of experience, knowledge and hard work to their roles. They’re all extremely passionate about providing first-class care to the clients we support, and this has an immeasurable impact on the adults and children with complex needs who we care for in their own homes across the country.

“The entire Komplex Group will be wishing our fabulous four the best of luck as they undertake their interviews ahead of the announcement of the regional winners. Thank you all for your dedication to our clients and to Komplex Care!”

The West Midlands regional final will take place on November 2, with the North West event on November 9.
