Right on target!

Shropshire archer Alison Williamson will compete in her sixth consecutive Olympics at London 2012.

Alison will be one of three women to represent the nation and says she is thrilled.

Winner of a bronze medal at the Athens games in 2004, Alison is a member of the Long Mynd Archers in Church Stretton.

“I feel extremely privileged to be going to a sixth Olympics,” she says. “I have enjoyed the experience at every one in equal measure.

“This is the ultimate event that every athlete aspires to. To be there six times is just amazing.”
