Twists and turns at Pattingham

Pattingham Drama is back in business and all set to perform the play A Bunch of Amateurs.

The play, by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman, is full of plot twists and turns with quirky characters and comedy dialogue.

Keen to boost his flagging career, fading Hollywood action hero Jefferson Steele arrives in England to play King Lear in Stratford – only to find that this is not the birthplace of the Bard, but a sleepy Suffolk village. And instead of Kenneth Branagh and Dame Judi Dench, the cast are a bunch of amateurs trying to save their theatre from developers. The audience is warned that the play does contain strong language.

The amateur production takes place in Pattingham Village Hall from Wednesday 17th November through to Saturday 20th at 7.30 each evening.

Tickets are available from boxoffice@pattinghamdrama.co.uk
