Concert to celebrate spring

An uplifting afternoon of music is in prospect at Bayston Hill as Shrewsbury Brass Band (pictured) hosts a spring concert. The event is scheduled for Sunday 19 April at 2.30pm at Christ Church.

The concert promises a joyful programme celebrating the arrival of spring, with a varied selection of brass band favourites. Known locally for their lively performances and strong community spirit, the band regularly performs across Shropshire and beyond, bringing traditional brass band music and modern arrangements to audiences of all ages.

Adding a special dimension to the afternoon will be a performance by Young at Heart, the Dementia Choir Shrewsbury led by Alison Stevens. Young at Heart is a non audition community choir that performs several times a year and places a strong emphasis on socialising, enjoyment and the wellbeing benefits of singing together.

Tickets are £12 for adults, with free entry for under 16s, are available on trybooking.com/uk/GEGY  and on the door.
