Priscilla at the Grand

Based on the Oscar-winning film The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, this musical adaptation tells the funny and moving story of three drag performers who set off from inner-city Sydney across the Australian desert in a battered old tour bus, christened Priscilla. They find some new friends – and themselves – along the way.

The show contains over 20 classic dance-floor favourites hits such as ‘Say a Little Prayer’, ‘Go West’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘Always on My Mind’ and is famed for its dazzling array of outrageous costumes. It’s a full-blooded affair with some coarse language and sexual references, so it’s recommended for children over 12 at their parents’ discretion.

‘Priscilla Queen of the Desert – The Musical’ runs in all its technicolour splendour at Woverhampton’s Grand from 24 to 28 April and tickets are now on sale, priced from £16.50 – call 01902 429212 or go to grandtheatre.co.uk.
