A cut above

Hairdressing students of Shrewsbury Colleges Group revealed their formidable talents at the college’s Annual Hair Competition which took place in May.

The competition was judged by industry professionals, including Tom Wheeler of haircare product manufacturer Affinage, who commented on the afternoon’s events in enthusiastic fashion saying “It is great to see the kind of hairdressing talent that will shape the future generation.”

Jess Smith, studying Level 3 Advanced Hairdressing, who won for her Bee concept said, “I never thought I’d win – I can’t stop smiling. I love the colour palette that you associate with bees.”
