Severn Valley Railway will be taking passengers on a special journey this winter. Arriving on Friday 29 November with dates throughout the festive period, Steam in Lights is a 90-minute Christmas extravaganza. The journey will transport passengers into a story of mischief and mystery, as part of a quest to make lights shine out and find magical creatures hidden along the way.
Another event that will get you on board with the festive season is the Santa Special, coming to Bridgnorth from Saturday 30 November up until Tuesday 24 December. Chat to Santa as he meets every family on the train, handing out gifts to each child and posing for photographs as you steam through the beautiful Severn Valley.
If singing is how you step into Christmas, then the Christmas Carol train will be a perfect way to soak up the festive atmosphere as you set off from Kidderminster with a traditional evening of carols. There will be different entertainment on each departure date. Bridgnorth Male Voice Choir are set to be performing on Saturday 14 December – an evening not to be missed.
