Bear with Cuan

he team at Cuan Wildlife Rescue near Much Wenlock are getting ready for the busy spring season. Cuan’s next events include a Family Prize Bingo Night at Much Wenlock’s Priory Hall on Friday 5 April at 6.30pm and Quiz Nights at the Plume of Feathers in Harley on Mondays 4 March and 8 April.
Tina adds, “If you’re interested in volunteering with us, please do get in touch at cuanwildlife@gmail.com. In our busy season, the hospital is open from 7am until 10pm, so a couple of hours helping with putting out food and general help would be very useful.”

The charity hit the international headlines recently thanks to ‘bald’ hedgehog Bear. Tina says, “Bear is doing really well. His skin’s improving, it’s smoother and more supple and he even has two tiny spines starting to appear. It will however take a longer time for his spines to be restored to their glory and he has more treatment to go.”

To donate to Bear or the other Cuan patients, text CUAN10 followed by the amount you wish to donate to 70070 or donate via PayPal to cuanwildlife@gmail.com.
