Biker groove

A bevy of roaring machines will descend on the town of Broseley this summer – and organisers are looking for people to bring their motorbikes and get into the spirit.

The third Broseley Festival of Motorcycling will take place on the first weekend in August. This year, the committee have decided to invite the local Blood Bike organisation to take part in the event. Shropshire Staffordshire and Cheshire Blood Bikes recently celebrated their fifth birthday, and in that time, they have made nearly 14,000 deliveries, not only of blood but also x-rays, medication and breast milk. They have travelled over 600,000 miles and now have a fleet of 15 motorcycles.

The Broseley Festival of Motorcycling was instigated by Simon Harris and Dave Harmon, supported by a committee of like-minded motorcyclists – find them on Facebook or visit broseleyfestivalofmotorcycling.org.
