With another school year well underway, Birchfield School near Albrighton has warmly welcomed new pupils and also several new teachers to join their team. Among them are heads of department in English, Mathematics and Science as well as Music and a new director of Sport.

Head Mrs Morris said, “These are exciting times at Birchfield, and we’re all delighted to be welcoming our new subject specialist staff to complement the existing high-quality teachers.”

With a wealth of experience in the independent and maintained sectors, these additions to the current team have a passion for their subjects. Experiments are already underway in the Science Laboratory and brand-new phonics and reading schemes are also being launched.
