Cressage History Talks

An illustrated talk and exhibition will be given by local historians, husband and wife team Dr. Trevor and Margaret Hill, entitled ‘Two Ancient Manors by the River Severn’. The talk is the final instalment in a series of lectures which has run for three years. What’s What caught up with Dr Hill who explained that he and his wife, who both taught History at Birmingham University, have devoted their retirement years to researching the history of the local area.

Their efforts in sharing so much information have been well received by local people, and have helped to raise money for the Cressage Church Tower Fund. The talk will take place on Thursday 7th April at 7.30pm in Cressage Village Hall. Admission £3.
