New Look Crown Meadow

By spring next year Bridgnorth will have a new and exciting play area. New equipment will be installed at Crown Meadow Recreation Ground, just off Innage Lane. Shropshire Council and Bridgnorth Town Council have teamed up to provide a new play area for this part of Bridgnorth.

This new area will benefit from funding from local planning developments, Town Council and Big Lottery funding. Councillor William Parr, ward member for Bridgnorth East and Astley Abbotts says “Having a new play area on The Crown Meadow is exciting news for everyone who knows what an asset this will be for the local community.”

Plans are currently being drawn up and a consultation with schools and residents in the town will decide exactly what play equipment is needed.
