Pothole funds

The county council has been awarded an additional £1.86m of government funding to help fix Shropshire’s potholes. Adverse weather has led to a proliferation in the number of holes opening up on the county’s roads, and the UK government has granted additional funding to help teams tackle the hazards.

You can report potholes through the Shropshire Council website – visit shropshire.gov.uk/roads-and-highways/report-a-fault-or-concern – but if it has been outlined with paint, it has already been reported and is awaiting repair.
