Telford goes retro

Three bands who made it big in the nineties and noughties are visiting Telford this summer for what’s set to be a knock-out outdoor gig. S Club, 5ive and East 17 will perform at the Big Top, a 1,000-capacity venue that opens up for the season as the Oakengates Theatre goes on tour as The Place in the Park.

The gig takes place on Wednesday August 15 – visit theplacetelford.com for more details.
S Club had a hit with Don’t Stop Moving, 5ive’s singles included Everybody Get Up, while East 17’s smash hit was the Christmas number one Stay Another Day.
