Primary Schools Golf

Bridgnorth Golf Club hosted
the East Shropshire Year 3 and 4
Tri-Golf Tournament with a total
of 17 teams taking part from 7
different Primary Schools across
the East Shropshire Partnership.
The pupils experienced playing a
specially designed 9-hole Tri-Golf
course and taking part in skills
challenges including a chipping, putting and
striking challenge. Pupils played
in mixed age and gender teams of 4 players.
Castlefields A team won the skills
challenge competition with Alveley A team
in second and Castlefields B in
third. The course play competition was won by
Highley B team with St Leonard’s
B in second and Castlefields B in 3rd.
The individual lowest score on the
course was carded by Sullivan Tristham
from St Mary’s Bluecoat School
with a fantastic score of 31 over the
9-hole short course.
