Lauren goes for gold

A county beauty is hoping to take the title of Miss British Beauty Curve 2018 when she competes in a beauty pageant this summer. Lauren Cox of Telford is currently Miss Shropshire Curve 2018 and she is representing the county in the grand final on Saturday 4 August at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone.

Lauren says, “I want to be able to encourage all women to accept and love the bodies they are in, through every stage of life. We are all on our own journey of self love, and competing in this pageant allows me to take part in a change in society where we are finally accepting and celebrating the differences in others.”
