With Bake Off fever reaching its peak just as WW! goes to print, a Telford cake shop is going county-wide by opening a new store in Shrewsbury. Crystal Owen has been selling her sweet treats at Crystal’s Cupcakes in Dawley for five years and is now branching out with a venue at Shrewsbury’s Parade shopping centre.
Crystal said, “We’re thrilled with our new shop! We’d been searching for the perfect place to introduce our cakes to the Shrewsbury area for some time. Many of our customers from our flagship shop in Dawley travel from far afield to buy our cakes, so we wanted to open up a new base to cover this part of the county. When we heard about the opportunity to take on a unit at the Parade, we jumped at the chance.”
