Counsellor Kay’s book launch

Counselling therapist Kay Fletcher launches her debut book this month.

Kay, who has her private practice in Leintwardine near Ludlow, has spent lockdown writing, editing and organising Baby Dreamer And His Clever Friends, a picture book for children.

Kay says, “Lockdown seemed the ideal time to write the book, the first part of the Baby Dreamer series. I’ve had great support from friends, family, my illustrator and from Little Steps Publishing. I am so happy and proud of the results. It’s been a tough time for all of us trying to get through COVID and the ‘new normal’. Writing has proved cathartic and I have felt constantly inspired.”

Part of that inspiration, Kay explains, was wanting stories like Baby Dreamer to bring families together. She hopes sharing stories will instil a love of listening to each other and learning from each other.

Baby Dreamer And His Clever Friends is available in bookshop and from Kay direct. Visit for further details.
