Shrewsbury firm backs running events

A Shrewsbury company has announced it will be a Support Partner of Adrenaline Sporting Events for 2026, strengthening its commitment to community wellbeing and active lifestyles across Shropshire and Mid Wales.

The partnership will see Salop Leisure support a packed calendar of popular running events while also encouraging its own team members to get involved. Staff will be offered complimentary race passes, giving those with a passion for running and fitness the chance to take part.

Salop Leisure’s involvement also reflects the strong geographical links between the events and the business’s holiday home parks, with races taking place in key locations including Newtown, Welshpool and Lake Vyrnwy.

Adrenaline Sporting Events organises a wide range of races, promoting fitness, community spirit and local tourism. Its 2026 calendar of events includes 10k races at Welshpool, Wrexham, Newtown, Lake Vyrnwy, Chirk, Oswestry and Ellesmere as well as Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon and the Shropshire Santa Run.
