Residents of Ironbridge thought they were seeing things when four giant lucky lotto balls floated down the River Severn and under the Ironbridge.
The giant balls, each the size of a double-decker bus, featured the region’s luckiest numbers and were a publicity stunt by Camelot to mark the launch of the new-look Lotto game.
A National Lottery spokesperson said, “The iconic balls have been part of British life since 1994 and it’s great to see them at an amazing location like the Ironbridge Gorge which has received Heritage Lottery funding. We hope they bring everyone that has seen them a little Lotto luck.”
