A Tiny Flower, Lent Not Given

Shrewsbury entrepreneur Helen Pugh (pictured) has written a book that explores the tender and often unspoken experiences of losing a baby. Through evocative prose and deeply personal storytelling, the book captures the delicate balance between grief and hope, sorrow and solace.

A Tiny Flower, Lent Not Given has three elements to it.  There are personal narratives from Helen’ s own experience of baby loss,  information to help and support parents and pages for parents to reflect and write their thoughts.

Helen reflects: “My journey through baby loss is a deeply personal one. My son, Matthew,  was born at 28 weeks and lived for two days. Going through this experience has given me a profound understanding of grief and loss. Although it happened 34 years ago, when I was only the tender age of 20, the memory is etched on my heart. Writing A Tiny Flower Lent Not Given has been both cathartic and transformative, and I am passionate about supporting others who have faced similar losses.  I am dedicated to fostering open conversations about grief and healing.”
