Raising the bar

A wonderful array of award-winning chocolate makers, bean-to-bar producers, and chocolatiers will be inviting chocolate-lovers to attend the sixth Shrewsbury Chocolate Festival. The ethos of the festival is to promote high-quality chocolate, which is handcrafted, traceable, and from a sustainable source.

The chocolatiers pride themselves on the years of training, product development and knowledge they have built up. All the exhibitors have won awards from the Great Taste Awards, Academy of Chocolate and the International Chocolate Awards and their aim is to create beautiful products, with unique and fresh flavours.

The festival will be taking place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November at St Mary’s Church. The demo stage will have a range of talks, tastings and a children’s lollipop workshop will be running over the two days. Crepes, baked goods, chocolate liqueurs and other delicious confections will also be available. Opening times are 10am till 5.30pm on Saturday and 10am till 5pm on Sunday.
