Visitors to last year’s Shrewsbury Folk Festival helped raise more than £7,800 for Hope House Children’s Hospices, bringing the total up to £70,791 since the partnership between the two organizations began.
The money will be used to fund music therapy sessions at the hospice. Festival Director Sandra Surtees said, “Music therapy can make such a difference to children and we feel that fundraising for this service is the perfect fit for us. We cannot thank our supporters enough!”
