Community champion award

The Duchess of Rutland was guest of honour at Kinlet Hall in March, when a launch party for new ventures at the Shropshire Grade 1 listed country mansion was held. Brought up in the Welsh Borders herself and now masterminding the redevelopment of Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, the Duchess spoke stirringly about the importance of heritage to an audience of 100.

Owners of Kinlet Hall Julian and Paul Engleheart then entertained the guests with some live jazz.

Kinlet Hall, formerly Moffats School, is now being promoted as a venue for private and corporate events.
