Soprano soloist

Shrewsbury Choral Society are performing ‘Requiem for Humanity’ by Helen Ostafew on Saturday November 16 at Shrewsbury Abbey at 7.30pm. With the Orlando Singers, she toured France and Prague, as well as performing with the Royal Philharmonic and ELO.

Thelma Foster from Shrewsbury Choral Society said, “Her most prominent work is her ‘Requiem for Humanity’ which has been performed in Holland, Germany and the UK as well as being broadcast on Dutch radio RTV and BBC radio 3 programmes. This promises to be a masterpiece of choral presentation and music-lovers are going to be thrilled.”
