Apprentices restore classic car

Apprentices classic car

MP Philip Dunne has welcomed a Bridgnorth project which will see apprentices restore a classic car from start to finish, for the first time in the UK. Classic Motor Cars Ltd will give their apprentices the chance to rebuild a 1954 Lancia Aurelia, learning valuable skills about the restoration process. Over the course of a year the apprentices will strip down the car, assess the condition and evaluate what must be repaired or replaced.

Mr Dunne says, “I’m very pleased Bridgnorth’s Classic Motor Cars Ltd are committed to training apprentices, giving local school-leavers the chance to build knowledge, acquire practical skills and improve their job prospects for the future.”
