Golf day for Cameron

cameron brown - Asthma awareness week

Ashley and Gemma Brown are hoping to break the £40k mark this year in their fundraising efforts for Asthma UK in memory of their 2 year old son Cameron, who died in February 2008 following a severe asthma attack.

They start the fundraising with a charity golf day at Hawkstone Park on April 11, which has been jointly organised with keen golfer Martin Timmis, who works with Ashley at Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service. Prizes will be available for longest drive and nearest the pin on selected holes, as well as the chance to win a brand new Skoda, donated by Faintree Skoda, for a hole in one.

Predator Golf of Wem are supplying golfing goodie bags items which each player will receive. Local businesses are invited to sponsor a hole. Anyone wishing to play, support or donate please contact Ashley Brown on 07980-256832 or ashley.brown@shropshirefire.gov.uk
