Hive of activity

Shrewsbury’s Hive is once again hosting workshops for creative types of all ages this summer. On Thursday 25 July, young potters are invited to make garden seagulls from 10.30am until noon, with a cost of £12 per child, including all materials and firing. Later the same day, adults can make their own glazed soap dish – the workshop starts at 7.30pm and costs £25.
Then on Monday 12 August, there’s the chance for youngsters to take part in a puppet performance inspired by JM Barrie, and then on Friday 23 August, a workshop for teenage girls will let them unleash their musical skills as part of a Music Tech and DJ Skills for Girls day.
