Young gardeners

The team at St Leonard’s Primary in Bridgnorth are planning ahead – they are working on converting their existing bungalow garden into a kitchen garden.
The school’s senior administrator Scarlett Beach explains, “We hope to grow and supply a lot of the produce eaten at lunchtime to our kitchen. We have organised a Pupils’ Kitchen Garden Committee and they are working with our Caterlink chef, Adrian Ratcliffe, to develop a plan of action.
“We are very grateful to Caterlink and their chef Adrian for their donation of £1,000 towards our set-up costs.”
