On ‘guard’

Producers Michael Harrison and David Ian are delighted to announce a return visit to Wolverhampton Grand Theatre for the international smash hit production of the award-winning musical ‘The Bodyguard’, which will run from 25 June to 6 July 2019.

Based on Lawrence Kasdan’s 1992 Oscar nominated movie starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, this production is directed by Thea Sharrock, had its world premiere at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End in 2012, and was nominated for four Olivier Awards.

Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard Frank Farmer is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge; what they don’t expect is to fall in love. The romantic thriller includes hits such as ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘One Moment in Time’; tickets are priced from £24.50 and are available from the box office or visit grandtheatre.co.uk.
