A fun event is set to return to the Gorge this year – with an option to upgrade to a full marathon. The CODRC event, which takes place on Saturday 28 September, this year celebrates Guardians of the Galaxy.
The run will take participants from Coalport Village Hall on the southern side of Telford right through the heart of Telford to Brockton on the northern side of Telford along the Silkin Way, where runners can refuel with cake and drinks before retracing their steps to Coalport. Half marathon runners turn around just north of Oakengates. The Silkin Way is a permanent footpath through Telford so provides a solid running surface, and quick times are available.
