Lone walker raises funds!

Local business owner Nigel Parkin “walked alone” to raise funds for a local charity after the  cancellation of the much loved Bridgnorth Walk.  He created his own route of 17 miles around Bridgnorth and completed it in a very respectable 4 hours!

“I’ve taken part in the walk for many years and raised funds for The David Turnock Society, which was formed in 1995 in memory of its namesake, deputy head of Bridgnorth’s Endowed School.  To date we have raised around £70,000 for local good causes and I hope to raise a further £1000 from our members through this walk”

A big well done to Nigel from the team at WW!
