Much Wenlock hosts Legal Service

The traditional historic Legal Service was held in Much Wenlock’s Holy Trinity Church. High Sheriff Hugh Trevor-Jones said: “The service is held in celebration of the Queen’s Peace and our Heritage and was a great coming together for the community attended by our Lord-Lieutenant, the Bishops of Lichfield and Ludlow, many of our Judges and Magistrates and representatives of organisations from across the county, as well as visiting High Sheriffs.”

Chaplain to the High Sheriff, the Reverend Prebendary Stephen Lowe, Rector of Holy Trinity Church, spoke about how science, Christianity and reason should combine to help underpin a stable society.
