Bridgnorth Carnival set to return

Bridgnorth Town Carnival is set to return on Friday 3rd June as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The Carnival Planning Committee is working to recapture the carnival’s former glory, with plans for a float and walking procession starting from the Livestock market and travelling along High Street. It will finish up on Severn Park where an array of stalls, attractions and live entertainment will run into the evening.

Bookings are now being taken for stalls, attractions and groups to take part in the procession, with the emphasis being on local; any local community or sports clubs looking to take part in the procession, either with a float or a walking entry, can also opt for a complementary stall on Severn Park afterwards.

Contact bridgnorthtowncarnival@yahoo.com for further information on how to get involved.
