One of the most picturesque off-road running events in Shropshire is set to make a welcome return on 18 September at Severn Valley Country Park in Alveley.

Severn Valley Trail Run offers a 5km and 10km option. The route passes through ancient woodlands, wildflower meadows and riverbank. The event will co-inside with the Autumn Steam Gala on Severn Valley Railway so runners can race alongside a fleet of special locomotives. This year the country park celebrates  it’s 30th birthday and all runners will receive a special commemorative medal.  Entry fee for 10km race is £16 and 5km race is £10.
