Summer pub

The Pheasant Inn at Neenton near Bridgnorth has been voted Summer Pub of the Season by the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). Branch chairman Eleanor Haddon presented the award to managing couple Mark Harris and Sarah Cowley. Eleanor’s fellow Pub of the Season organiser Alan Thwaites explained, “The pub’s village location, beer garden, hospitality, fine food and quality real ales make it an ideal destination for a summer visit.”

The Pheasant Inn is a community-run pub which reopened in 2015 after being closed since 2006. The reopening of the pub was the culmination of four years of work spearheaded by Neenton Community Society.
