A Grand day of golf

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre is to hold its first Golf Day in July to raise funds to support its charitable work. The Golf Day is taking place at Wergs Golf Club near Wolverhampton on Thursday 5 July, sponsored by PIA Wealth Management.

A variety of packages are available for teams and individuals, which include 18 holes of golf, a two-course dinner with guest speaker, as well as sponsorship opportunities. A raffle and auction will also be held.

The Grand’s fundraising manager John Harrison, “We believe theatre can have a positive and transformative effect on people’s lives and our mission is to improve the local community by putting education, creativity and a passion for the arts at its heart. The inaugural Golf Day will not only support this important service, but also provide an opportunity to make business connections and build brand awareness at a relaxed and fun event.”

Richard Bourne of PIA Wealth Management says, “We’re proud to sponsor the Grand’s Golf Day. The Grand is known in the city for its shows and live entertainment, but many people aren’t aware of the fantastic work it does in the community or its status as a charity.”

To book, email johnh@grandtheatre.co.uk or call 01902 573320.
