Joint choral concert

This autumn will see a joint concert with Telford Orchestra and New College Chorale. The highlight of the concert will be a performance of Haydn’s Mass for a Time of War. The mass was composed towards the end of Haydn’s life – at around the same time as The Creation – and shows Haydn at his most lyrical and creative.

The full programme is: Bizet – Carmen Suite; John Rutter – Look at the World; Songs of Reflection; Haydn – Mass for a Time of War.

The concert is on Saturday 17 November, at 7. 30pm at St Michael’s Church Madeley TF7 5BN. Tickets are £10 – students free – and are available on the door.
