If you’d like to create your own display basket in perfect time for Mother’s Day, join in with a workshop taking place at in the Garden Room of Dudmaston Estate at 1pm on Sunday 17 March. The Wild Craftist, who uses natural materials to create memorable artworks, will guide you as you fashion your own open-sided willow basket.

Wild Craftist Ben explains, “These presentation baskets are a beautiful way to show off arrangements of flowers or a range of other items. They’re also a lovely statement piece of basketry in their own right.”

All materials and tools are provided, and numbers are kept low so that everyone has the opportunity to ask all the questions they want to – and can receive all the help they need. The workshop costs £40 and National Trust admission charges apply – see nationaltrust.org.uk/dudmaston for details.
